What are the normal rates for Divorces at Asharp Law Firm, LLC?

Glad you would ask:
For a Simple Divorce with no Children and Both Parties Agree: $550.00
For a Divorce with no Children and Both Parties Don't Agree: $7500.00
For a Divorce with minor children and Both Parties Agree: $900.00
For a Divorce with minor children and Both Parties Don't Agree: $12,000.00
Our rates do not include if you want to hire an expert, discovery fees, if one party should be outside of the United States of America, or if the minor children are involved in Department of Family Services cases. If you are in one of those situations, let us know and we will try to quote you a reasonable rate for Asharp Law Firm LLC's services. Rates also do not include filing fees and discovery fees (which may be waived). The Rates listed above are currently valid only until June 30, 2018 unless we later renew the rates on this website. Rates for Divorces listed above are valid for the State of Alabama area only. We will try to quote you a reasonable rate for the location that you might be at. |

A "Flat Fee" is where the Attorney charges a set amount for work done on a case. It is easy to calculate and most Clients like knowing how much things will cost before they get into an issue. Asharp Law Firm prefers to offer Flat Fee pricing on most cases.

What is an "Hourly Billing?"
|
An "Hourly Billing" is where the Client is billed for the amount of hours to complete the work. Some law Firms have a higher rate for when the Attorney is in the Courtroom, Asharp Law Firm, LLC does not bill a higher amount for when the Attorney is in the Courtroom than when he is outside the Courtroom. An Hourly Billing method is used when the Attorney cannot estimate the exact amount of hours needed to complete a case. Asharp Law Firm, LLC currently bills in six (6) minute intervals which comes out to being one tenth of an hour (.1 of an hour).
